ABOUT Chef Katie

Katie Williams is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, Oregon, a graduate of the College of Charleston in South Carolina, and has traveled extensively to learn and experience different cultures and cuisines.  With over a decade of culinary experience, she started her business, Spiced! Culinary Creations in her hometown of Charleston, SC.  She enjoys sharing her culinary expertise through in-home demonstrations. 

Born and raised in Charleston, Katie worked as a server while attending the College of Charleston where she gained an appreciation for the hospitality industry while earning a degree in Psychology.  Her love for the creativity of the kitchen drew her to Le Cordon Bleu, and she graduated in the Top 5 of her class. Katie spent the next decade honing her skills in a variety of quality dining establishments.  She had the privilege and honor of working at two Michelin star restaurants in New York and several upscale restaurants in Charleston, where she was exposed to a variety of food preparation.  She also served as the head chef in a remote Alaskan lodge.   Katie has traveled from Thailand and Cambodia to Morocco and Central America in search of hands-on learning experiences.  She brings her knowledge of international and American cuisine to the table with Spiced! Culinary Creations!
